Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Professional to launch a new initiative at Keystone Symposia: Keystone Symposia Digital Pass. Keystone Symposia has been working to build a community around cutting-edge research. One element of this direction is Keystone Digital Pass: providing virtual access to Keystone Symposia conferences through a subscription model. This new offering initially will focus on building a sales pipeline and evolving into successful account management. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of our digital audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Salary range: $69,000 to $96,000 base salary plus commission. Additional compensation will be awarded based on reaching success milestones consistent with 501©(3) guidelines. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Digital Pass subscriptions to academic institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, research organizations, and individual scientists.
- Identify and engage potential clients through outreach efforts, including cold calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate with marketing and program teams to align sales initiatives with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide feedback on client needs and market trends to inform product development.
- Serve as account manager for institutions that join the program to help the evolution of our organization and platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the life science research community, preferably in digital products or scientific services.
- Demonstrated success building sales for novel concepts or products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity and relationships with the life sciences or biomedical research community.
- Experience working in a sales or account management capacity with life science research institutions.
- Experience in selling digital or virtual conference products.
